Things to do in the hunter Valley

There's plenty of things to do in the Hunter Valley aside from drinking wine! Why not spend an afternoon strolling around Hunter Valley Gardensplay a few rounds of golf or head out to Wollombi and learn about the amazing history of the area with a visit to the Endeavour Museum.

If you want to get active and a little adventurous why not journey into the wild and head into the some of the beautiful forests that surround the valley. There are some amazing lookouts, tranquil water falls and historic Aboriginal sites to explore.

Hunter Valley Zoo


Enjoy daily shows, wander around at your own leisure, feed the friendly kangaroos or why not get up close by booking an animal encounter.

Endeavour Museum


The Museum now houses exhibits and displays of local history obtained within the original late 1800’s Wollombi Court House Police Precinct.

Horse Riding


Hunter Valley Horses offers horse riding for all levels - there's a horse to suit everyone. Trail rides will take you through bush land and  local vineyards all with amazing views.
